Any death rate determined with only known cases is going to be so nonsense. Experts have already determined for every known case there's 5 to 10 more unknown cases that will likely never be known unless the person is hospitalized. Realistically, we're probably looking at a .5% to 1% fatality rate which still makes it 5 to 10 times worse than the common flu with a .1% fatality rate so as not to down play it, but it's certainly not the end of the world.

 

I think as a symbol of unity we should all stand exactly six feet apart and enjoy a cold beer together.

The US's problem is a cultural problem, and this is why we have now become #1 in the world for Infections.

Slowing growth of the curve is what saved lives, testing is one way and social distancing is the other. As our leaders failed to lead in both cases we will pay with American lives.

As of yesterday South Korea has tested roughly one in 144 and U.S. per capita testing rate is closer to one in 900.

In many rural areas you can only be tested if they think that a positive result would make changes to your treatment....which is the reality in my community.

 

Obviously what you really want is to bash the president, and having caught a cold is your excuse to do so.
