Hubby and I are in the same position. Got a prehire but I would have to go out with a trainer for 4-6 weeks; wasn't crazy about that but....I'll do what I have to do. He did just get prehired with a good company and will go team with another driver for one month and then when I graduate I go straight onto the truck with him for my month of training. We are very happy since the other choice was Covenant and that didn't appeal to us at all. Good luck to your friends.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Well i think there going to conway. They are waiting on the final approval. But looks good.
-
If the truck makes .40 per mile as an example, and the split is Trainer .22 Student.18, then on a 1000 mile run, the trainer makes $220, the student makes $180. There's no honor system or log book verification needed. It's really very simple. The truck was dispatched for certain miles at certain pay. Truck makes certain pay, they split the pay, however it is determined.
Bucktrucker Thanks this. -
They got approved to go to conway. There going to pay both of them .44 cents a mile .
-
Correcting you before someone gets ugly.
They will split .44 a mile as a team. -
Well they are going to get .44 a mile to the truck.
-
Yeh. But one these newbs read it the other way. They'd be calling every friend they got left. Begging them to come drive team with them LOL
