Just an update: I just got off phone with DMV and the lady said that California is trying to get authorization from DOT to allow us to renew our licenses during the crisis by mail and without having to take all the written tests. She said they haven't been able to get that ok'd yet. But at least we have until June 30.

Thats too bad. I enjoyed the good food and the company of the valley girls in my time there. Why did they have to go ruin it all.

My renewal is also due in May.... my physical in April.... I was planning on handling both at the same time (I also need to get switched to the RealID and add the veteran identifier, both of which were implemented AFTER I passed my CDL test)... if it weren't for that, I could have renewed my dl by mail, I think it has to do with the number of points on your record and I am below the threshold that triggers testing required?

I cannot function in a world in which the DMV is closed for months, the Law told not to enforce expired CDL's and physicals are meaningless in offices intent on staying closed until after the current Covid19 is over with. You should see the pharmacy and doctors office the other day this week when we went to visit. Fort Knox had looser security to paraphrase. We just could not get inside the building to see anyone. We did get medicines at the drive through, everything else is essentially canceled for the rest of the year. There is no point.

It might be much more profitable to just park it, go home on that 4000 dollar a month cash unemployment passed by Congress.

Having thousands of people who will cave your head in with a brick living within a few miles of you will do wonders for your anxiety. Assuming this all ends without unrest, I'll finally be packing up and moving somewhere you can own some serious firewpower without being treated like a criminal. Right now, we're all sitting ducks in this neighborhood.

I would imagine that EVERYTHING has been put on hold across the nation.

    No need to panic.

    7 tests?
The rest of us only has to take 1. If we have the endorsement. Otherwise it's none.
