Actually that's a good thing....about time Mexico joined the rest of the modern world.....I hope this is a start of a trend....

 

Mythical.....

What's with *"Two by two...One house at a time"?
and If it's mythical, why is that Joe Baca (D-43rd District) supports it and denounces the fence, and any border enforcement of any kind.....as "Racist"?

* A mantra in reference to Reconquista as a "conquest of attrition"... hence the "one house at a time......" During the early 90's from La Raza and MeCha...

In fact, they used to have an ISP called twobytwo.net that was directed mainly to Hispanics as an alternative ISP to AOL or Earthlink back then. Most of it was in Spanish as well.

It is no longer in use or it goes by another domain name.

I first heard about "Two by two.....One house at a time" from a "Groundsman" who worked for the Edison company. He told us about a rally he attended in East L.A., and basically told us that "gringos" are on borrowed time because as he put it...."Our people are going to take back what was stolen from their ancestors....either you can leave peacefully now...or leave in a box later.....your choice."

How is that a good idea? I guess I'm just a dumb old flatbedder but to pull a load of shingle without strapping and tarping is asking for a chance to kill some innocent bystander. Loads move...they move a lot when you have to do ANY defensive driving, they move when pavement gets rough, when the wind blows too hard and hundreds of other reasons. Those weren't the good old days, just stupid luck days. I'd rather throw extra chains and lots more straps rather than worry or even wonder if a piece of my freight was going to move, come loose, or even worse fall off.
Case in point...About 3 years ago I had a load of steel plate going from Gary, IN to Greenbay, WI. I was heading North(west) on the Dan-Ryan thru Chicago about 2 am. It had stopped raining about 10 minutes earlier and traffic was light and rolling about 50. I'm in the right lane when a woman in a Cady decides to cut across my cab to make an exit ramp. She came from 3 lanes left of me and the only reason I didn't roll over the top of her was because I cut hard right and she just touched the corner of my left front bumper end. Problem was I could feel the trailer jack knifing and I saw it was just starting to roll over. I tried to cutback left to straiten out but it was too late as the cab had stared to roll over too. LONG story short the 49,800lb load of flat steel never moved at all. One of the rear chains snapped or wore threw while the trailer skidded on its side but even after the wrecker got the truck and trailer back up with the dirty side down nothing had moved or come off. She got a DUI, I had a couple of bruises, and after a state trooper and I examined the cab, trailer and load I was rolling 3 hours later. Even delivered on time and legal! So much for no straps or chains or just enough to get by with. NOOOOO thank u...I'll take the extra time for securing it right every time.

 

I can agree with that statement....
It is not the Mexican people who I take issue with...rather the brand of politicians now who use their Mexican "Heritage" as a tool......
And the liberal politicians who have "White-man's guilt"......

Then you have Dr. Juan Hernandez who has a "Border...what border?" attitude...
In fact Dr. Hernandez pushes a believe that even if your family has been in the US for 4 generations, you are still "Mexican"..........

This is the sheyat I take issue with my friend.....
The average Mexican and the average American citizen are getting played by both sides....

We wouldn't have illegals jumping the fence if Mexico would clean up its act and the liberal politicians from the US wouldn't put out the "welcome" mat...

Illegals vote...I don't care what anyone says...They vote....

it is illegal to ask for proof of citizenship at a polling place.....and our ballots are in Spanish....

So who is going to notice right????
