Your location is not one of the best. Lots of energy sector work in your area, but can be difficult to get a foot in. Look at knight transportation, the flatbed division. Runs very different than the van side.
    They are in SLC.

You have some dings on the record right now. My guess is your PSP makes you look unstable. Not what a company wants to see. You can get back into this, but it’s not going to be bread and roses. Your going to have to grit your teeth for a year or so. Get the full year, keep your record clean, then you can move to a better situation. The second and third chance companies will get you the experience you need. Not pretty, but sometimes you just have to do what you gotta do.

    Wait ... a ... minute.

    This industry isn't dishonest.

It is specific companies that are crap that drags us all down.

What helps these companies exist are the glut of drivers and the fact no one treats this as a profession.

I don't get some of this crap with some drivers, they don't get they are employees, there is no such thing as no forced dispatch, you go where you are needed and you don't refuse loads.

I got to call bs on this, Butler and May both hire new cdl holders with no experience.

You seem to have a lot of reasons why you "can't"...Maybe that's the problem.

You might check HireRight and other employment history sites. Some company may have slandered you ( in writing is legally libel) one of those orientations report you were not for hire?
I had a company pull this. Right now they’re answering to Government agency referred to by HireRight.
They still didn’t hurt me. Present employer told me about it. Present employer pretty level headed. It is a mega: Crete. Happy here.
    One thing....
Companies don’t weigh many jobs nearly as much as being fired from one. They don’t like you being fired. Won’t hire.

Pride will send a new driver out with a trainer if they have less than 6 months, I have seen many drivers just out of school come to work for us. Give recruiting a call, talk to Brian, he will give you the straight scoop

You will find a company eventually somewhere, but they are not going to be any better than the ones you had before and you will leave them too.

If you really want to drive you need to change your attitude, you will not be successful otherwise.

You quit your two jobs over really petty things.

Petty? Job #1 I guess you think its okay for a driver to be watching a movie while you're in the bunk then you must not value your life. Job #2- If I had been checked by a DOT officer, I could have had a $2000 + fine. I can't afford $2000, when I made $600 for the trip. Sorry you feel thats petty.

If you’re willing to drive out of California I have a company I can refer you to they run I-80 Northern California to Iowa/IL dedicated meat runs. Pay is 1900-2200 a week but it’s 1099 so you have to put atleast 400-500 of that aside for your taxes
