Right, what is normal, even when no crisis exists? I normally like to have a good inventory of back up supplies, to survive for a few days. Then supplement that with outside purchases when wanted. You soon find where the best value is, for maybe something that resembles home cooked at a good price.
Also can't agree more about current treatment received, influencing future patronage. I have a very long memory and will sacrifice convenience right now, to drive on by to where I left feeling good about my last stop.aaronpeterbilt3787 Thanks this. -
If they don't want you in their businesses......simple......go home wait 2 weeks and most likely in that time,if they don't go bankrupt....they'll most likely change their minds and show a little courtesy toward you.
Go home. Be done with it. -
If only it were that simple. EVERYONE would have to park. But way too many bottom feeders to stick together.

There are definitely lots of establishments stepping up to the plate. What I don’t understand is, how can a chain of hotels offer free showers, but yet the very establishments we’re suppose to use (truck stops) are closing them?? Sends me one msg......they don’t clean them in the first place! So appreciative of private business that is stepping up to the plate!

I beg to differ. It had gotten better. All gone now.
