Oh man, been sitting since saturday. I'm going crazy. Can't deliver before Tuesday. 4days to do a 450mile load. What a joke! Payback for my 3600mi wk last week? I have talked to others waiting on a load or stuck till Tues. Thank goodness I have ps3 to help pass the time.(movies n games)

This weeks pay is going to suck...
Figured I would post using my phone.

I do too, and I can almost bet my family is way bigger and therefore I have a lot more people in CO. I guess my elevator actually goes all the way to the top floor though. (which I am seeing is more of a true statement the more posts I read) I have family/friends throughout the country. If I get to see someone on a trip through, cool. If not, that isn't why we are going into it through.

Nope, east coast to Ut and a Ut to Michagan. The ut run was setup as a 1wk run, but I ran hard when the 99 said I could del early.

we try not to blind side(Right side) unless we absolutely have to and if we have to it is always good to use a spotter and if one is not available then get out and look alot especially befor commiting to the hole. We always try and back sight side (Left Side) because you can see more of the trailer in your mirrors.:biggrin_25514:

The cheapest and fastest is still Central.

pretty much the same applies for all areas with muliple turn lanes except for in Ca's case you have shorter off ramps and some with really sharp curves so slow way down and try and take those atleast 10mph below the posted speed limit for the curve. and you need to be in no higher than 4th gear when making a turn.

believe it or not he is done even if he was not driving. The DOT Reg states that if you are under the influence you can not be in a commercial vehicle at all even if it is parked our company policy is within 25 feet of the truck. we had a driver who was terminated over it.

Nope just a rumor nothing official but it could happen. I talked with my insider at CRS who is in the know and he has not heard anything about it. and as a trainer myself they would have notified me that our training periods would be increased.

I yanked back a 22' boat on a trailer made for a 26'...I love towing those odd sized ones. Thursday I've got a 27' going up on a 27 Trailer and bringing a 22' back... =) only 90 miles each way tho

Well, that even makes it worse. But, I just know how most people are, their key is going to be in the ignition, so I knew he would be done at that point. Thanks for the additional info though JJ.

My grandpa still drives, owns a company out here in CA, mostly LTL. He's got ~50 trucks, mostly small Intls. He does have a few larger trucks, a '99, '00, '01, and '09 KW T2000 and a '08 Pete 387...he may still have some of his older KW T600s too. My dad drove for him back in the '80s, he would run CA to PA back and forth, at the 55mph national speed limit no less. He got burnt out real quick, they had him running hard back in the day.
