If a breakdown is what put you under, then you didn’t have enough money set aside. Before you try again you need to figure out the cause, then come up with a plan so it doesn’t happen again.

 

First you need three months of living expenses. Than you need at least two months of truck expenses plus twenty grand, most likely the largest repair you might encounter..
Then you need to work for that company for one or two years and see if you get enough miles to make it work.

 

The jist of it is trucking is stupid. If you have the needed hundred grand to enter safely, do something else with it.

yea has repaired. but don't feel it will last. I think something will go wrong soon. two weeks ago was air pressure not building (had to tow to dealer). last week no start. but worked out a deal with director. thank goodness.

 

have plenty money in escrow. repairs/tow is draining it in just two weeks. im feeling very uneasy about continuing with this truck. on top of that im in the hole.

 

Seems like you are doing the right thing by turning it back in.

 

As do I. Without getting political, the recession under Obama had the fundementals of the economy being crappy going into the recession. This recession was caused by a global pandemic that literally turned off the lights to the companies one day when they were otherwise running along pretty #### good at 3.5% unemployment.

With the fundamentals of the economy being so strong going into this I feel it might not be "V" shaped but it should recover quicker than in the past.

 

So you think that the coeonavirus caused the economy to tank? It wasn't the morons who decided to tank the economic based on total BS?
