I am looking at a truck with a n-14 460 E+. It is currently set at 525 hp. My question is, if I have them turn it down to 460, what will be the fuel economy advantage? The lifetime MPG reads 5.46, but it has a PTO so I am assuming it will be a tiny bit higher.

Anyway, would it be worth it to turn it down? Or is it a smart motor that changes power 460/525?

    Thanks

Leave it at 525, if you down grade you will likely lose mpg cause the re-flash will be a more epa friendly tune = poor mileage, unless you can get a98-99 460-500 flash?
