Hi I was wondering what oil change interval you’d recommend with synthetic blend ? I got a 2005 S60.
used to use conventional and do it at 12k oil looked pretty dirty. I’m getting close to 12k on synthetic blend and the oil looked a lot better.

Why don't you do it the right way?
Take a oilsample and have it analysed.

I used to change at 15000.

But when we started running TWO oil changes a month in team, we allowed the oil to go to 25K but no more.

In our vehicles at home we change every three.

Locate your engine manual online. In it, you’ll find the oil change interval among other regular maintenance item intervals. It’s common for there to be 2 or 3 different oil change intervals depending on how the truck is operated: long haul, short haul, and/or severe.

Cool thanks everyone for the advice. Any preferred oil ?

how do you or other people go about doing it ? Just get in touch with a company they let me know what to do ? A lot of people choose to do it with “blackstone” or something like that right ?
