Hi I was wondering what oil change interval you’d recommend with synthetic blend ? I got a 2005 S60.
used to use conventional and do it at 12k oil looked pretty dirty. I’m getting close to 12k on synthetic blend and the oil looked a lot better.

Why don't you do it the right way?
Take a oilsample and have it analysed.truckdriver31 and Swine hauler Thank this. -
I used to change at 15000.
But when we started running TWO oil changes a month in team, we allowed the oil to go to 25K but no more.
In our vehicles at home we change every three.truckdriver31 and Greggg Thank this. -
Locate your engine manual online. In it, you’ll find the oil change interval among other regular maintenance item intervals. It’s common for there to be 2 or 3 different oil change intervals depending on how the truck is operated: long haul, short haul, and/or severe.truckdriver31 and Swine hauler Thank this.

Cool thanks everyone for the advice. Any preferred oil ?
how do you or other people go about doing it ? Just get in touch with a company they let me know what to do ? A lot of people choose to do it with “blackstone” or something like that right ?
