Hi, I have a problem with my volvo vnl 2007. The truck rides very rough especially when loaded, but when empty too, and When hit bump or crossing bridge or railroad truck bouncing making me crazy. After I Changed all 6 shocks and 2 cab shocks, also king pins front leaf springs bushings and rear springs too alignment, truck rides little bit better but it’s still same problem when crossing bridge or railroad or any hole on road I feel how rear bouncing and feels rough. Anyone has any idea how to fix this problem ?? Thanks

Did you replace the front cab mount bushings, worn out ones will make your cab ride choppy?
Also check that your leveling valve height is set correctly for your cab and your rear suspension.
A incorrect height setting will cause the air springs to be overly inflated giving a rough ride.stillwurkin, Jacoooooooo, PE_T and 1 other person Thank this. -

How to calculate to set correctly valve height for cab and frame ?truckdriver31 Thanks this.

Depending on how your truck is spec’d out, it’s best to contact the Volvo Stealership with your VIN number and they can tell you how and where to measure so you can correctly set the ride height.PE_T, truckdriver31 and Igor9113 Thank this.

are tires good. low rubber will cause a sucky ride super fast.

Shocks? Check and see if the shocks are oily. If yes then new shocks.

Check the cab leveling valve directly under the back of the sleeper, right in the center. If the arm falls off the little ball it clicks into, which wears out after time, your cab air bags aren't even filling up. Just zip tie it up if that's the case or replace if you need. That will definitely change your ride.
stillwurkin Thanks this.
