I totally understand, what I was trying to portray with my post was basically that it is definetely not as easy as it can look. My experience is limited and I guarantee you I will not go solo until my trainer takes me into some white stuff so I can learn more how to drive in those conditions.

Well you might or might not run into snow and you might not get the oppertunity to drive in some and they have to take you in to upgrade after the 28 days are up weather you drove in some or not just remember to take it slow and if you are feeling like it is unsafe then find a safe place to pull over and stop and contact your fleet MGR no load is worth anyone's life and believe me they will rather have you pull over then have an accident.cowboynidaho1971, Bootlegger66 and mama mia Thank this.

Yeah... I can imagine that road... it had to have been no fun!
I am not comparing driving a motorhome to a big rig. Yes, it is possible to jackknife the motorhome I was driving... 34 ft + another 24 ft trailer in tow. My cousin jackknifed it and totaled it a couple years ago. Jackknifing that vs. a big rig is different though.
I am not saying that I have experience. Especially not in the snow. I always avoid driving in it. You are right... as soon as you think you know it all... that's usually when you find out you don't!
Also note in the top right corner of every post... it says that I am a student. I claim to know nothing about big rigs.
