    I'd be more worried about ever seeing the truck you ordered than anything, they've been "taking orders" for almost two years haven't they?

    Tesla is always late in getting cars and the truck out then what they claim at first. They are a new company so it not like they can just make them. If someone needs a truck.

    I don't think OP problem is just a simple need of a truck in like 6 month or a year. It probably more of a money problem. If someone needs a truck now, just order a new one and Freightliner or what ever they want and they will build it. Then all the CARB problems are solve.

    I was gonna say the same thing. It will be cheaper and better to just live life free and bypass california. After you swap in a “compliant” engine for 2023 CARB will most likely change the rules in 2023 to make 2022 and older illegal anyway.
