Ok just catching up on the days events on here. Just want to share 1bad's experience so far. After training with the best trainer at Central (JJRanch) he has remained a solo driver. The 1st 6 months months we became close personal friends with the devil. Very low miles and pay only one week in those 6 months with pay over $600. He was lucky enough to get on the Kraft dedicated fleet 3 days after his six months was up. Got a new truck spent a month in the shop not clearing more than $300 a week. Now he truck appears to be running smoothly so the money is starting to come around. Next week will be a better gauge at the money situation. But I can honestly say that the Kraft DM's keep you rolling provided your truck is in working order. Not sure if that helps anyone just thought I would put my 2 cents in on the subject. :biggrin_25520:

and wondered if someone would tell me how to reach one of their recruiters? I found their website, the one that has all the Refrigerator info on front page, but it doesn't give a number for the recruiters? It says at the bottom of first page you have to pass a screening(something like that)with a recruiter. That makes perfect sense, but not entering a number to call doesn't. Can anyone help me?

    Thank you much, denise

Google "Central Truck Driving Jobs" (I would link... but don't think that is allowed)

The first page should take you to information about Central driving jobs.

Up on top... click link for contact and then recruiting.

I would recommend Sarah. I and several others here have found that she returns calls and sometimes even answers her phone!

    Good luck!

Kraft Dedicated is nation wide, but mostly East and Midwest.
Allot of cheese from Wisconsin and Missouri. Many drops in Chicago.
Allot of places to run in and out of Ohio.
Also many locations in PA, SC, GA etc.
I ran all over for them for the first few months with the fleet, then I was on a dedicated run from Avon NY to Independence Missouri. Avon being near Rochester NY and Independence being near Kansas City. I would pick up my back haul in Granite City IL, outside of St. Louis going back to Avon.

They normally break the fleet down to East and West. I never did the western end of Kraft with the dedicated fleet. Though I know that they ran out around Cali and TX. Also they had at one point drivers running from Independence to LA. I heard it was a fun trip since they would be hauling Cool Whip and they could not bring it over the mountains. So they had to drop all the way to Texas and go around the long way lol. The high alt would cause the cool whip to settle.

For an add on to widows post. I think they break the fleet down that way. I ran almost all northern stuff, and the southern drivers run the southern stuff. Then they have another fleet that runs Texas, California and all the stuff out there.
It allows them to keep there drivers busy and plan easy for freight.

I can't speak for teams never dealt with that. But on the Kraft fleet you are guarnteed 2500 miles a week. So far when the truck is running they are really really close or over that mile stone! Hope this helps.:biggrin_25520:
