Just got over 3000 last week 3007. Considering the current economic situation consider myself lucky. This week should end up around 2600 which is more or less my average. One thing I’m seeing is avoid terminals at all costs. It might be better to sit on a load for a day than “ drop” at a terminal. So many trucks in one area makes me nervous.

What's the policy with appointments at a Costco distribution center? I haven't been to one yet and want to be early in case I underestimated how bad Atlanta traffic will be.

Check in at the gate. They will give a pager and your bills back. Either they will give a door or send you the bullpen.
If you get a door go to the door open doors back in. Pager will go off, go back to the gate they will give a sticker that’s your POD. If you go to bullpen they will page you with door number the follow above directions. Usually unloaded half hour to an hour.

Thanks. It said this was a drop and hook on Transfli, but it was wrong about the pickup part and I doubted it was right about the drop off.

Virtually ALL Costco D.C's have signage saying no more than one hour early. I have arrived up to 3 hrs early and they will usually put you in the bullpen, but 10 years of Costco's and I have NEVER got to a door even one minute early. On the bright side they are always quick.

Newbie me got here 30 minutes early, had the easiest spot to back into and didn't have to wait. This helps ease the sting of it taking so long to get into the space to get loaded in Rochester.

    MIT Thanks this.

Ended up the week with 1800 miles. Such is life. Now I’m sitting at JJ Taylor in Minneapolis overnight. Not mad, certainly not happy but it is what it is. I think I’ll do the Door Dash thing tonight. Got nothing on the truck that I want.

When you guys run from Elkton to Glenwillow, how do you run it? GPS had me going up and grabbing 70 to 76 to 80. But I know that going across 68 and up 79 is generally just as quick, and cuts down on tolls. I know I ain't the one paying, but holy hell the PA Turdpike is expensive.

Speaking of 68, in two years of driving for Millis, I only had to drive the entire length of 68 once, and then it was only because I took the load home with me. But in the past month I've done it 3 times. I love the scenery of that part of WV and western Maryland but that road is definitely a roller coaster. Especially so when you've got beer.
