Man, I like the way you think. We got rid of TV about 9 years ago. Three reasons mostly, not many shows worth watching anymore, too expensive, unlike it being free many years ago, and little time to sit around watching the boob tube anyway...

His show switched from idealogically substantive propaganda around that time to a constant display of the lowest most demoralizing trash they could find. There was no demand for it, but soon you had springer and maurey and all the others pumping exactly that into our homes for the kids to see in the background while mom vacuumed.

Thats what propaganda looks like. Influence people into being idiots by showing that everyone else is too. I dont want to see 3 ugly obese broads hair pulling over some gay guy and neither does anyone else. But they forcefeed it to you.

 

I hear you. I still remember seeing on national TV a certain hollyweird female actress sitting atop of and straddling the barrel of a big NVA piece of artillery with a big grin on her face. On either side of her were two NVA communist military leaders with big grins on their faces. She had a nickname of Hanoi ####.

I didn't understand at the time why my pop and my uncle, at the time a major in the U.S. Air Force, were so mad about it. Later, I came to realize what they were talking about and why.

Years later, in the '80's, I took a load to Waterbury, CT. I had a heck of a time getting to my receiver, as military veterans were conducting a huge protest and had the main drag shut down. What they were protesting was this same woman was attempting to shoot a movie there....

Well if you are a communist it makes perfect sense. Infact it follows all the guidelines of sun tsu, machivelli, lenin, mao, che guevera et al. Bait your enemy into an ambush by attacking a remote outpost to ambush the reinforcements and supply chain that comes to its aid.

The british had malaya. French had algeria. Portugal had angola and mozambique. We got baited into south vietnam because michelin had 31k acres of rubber trees there abd it was one of their govts biggest incomes.

Moscow spent more money creating the riots in usa over vietnam than they did in funding the NVA. They made sure the troops had lots of heroin to get hooked on and made sure that maximum division back home was accomplished over the whole mess. It was a trap we still dont understand.

These wars made perfect sense. We just dont know the rules of war.
