I was very happy in the beginning working over here until my truck which I was doing a lease purchase got hit by another trucking company. This happened this past November. Now it was the beginning of April they never received the insurance check from the other company that was at fault and expected me to pay for my damages Plus pay rental fees. Why should I have to pay for damages and a rental I asked? The truck wasn’t in my name yet. Plus their insurance company wouldn’t even talk to me about it. Just sounds a little fishy to me. I get a phone call from the owner of the company that I have never ever spoke to in all the two years that I have been there.Well we just want to work with you so we can get your truck back on the road and you can make some money. OK that sounds totally awesome but if I’m paying for all these damages plus a rental what’s my guarantee I’m going to get the money back when the other trucking company sends you the check. Now I up and walked away. It’s a walk away lease. I had had it I was being treated very disrespectful and ordering me to fix damages. Nope sorry not doing it. I’ve been driving for 35 years and I’ve never ever been treated the way I was treated in the end all because I was fighting for my rights. Communication is awful there. They give you good runs and then they take them away from you and give them to somebody else. There has been a few times when you go and look at your statement there is missing loads. Than you go to fight and argue to get it back you finally end up getting it but you got a fight for it and keep reminding them. Like I said in the beginning I never had any issues but there’s a lot of rumors going around and I’m glad that I’m not there anymore. It’s like a revolving door there if they don’t like you they either try to push you out or they just fire you. I’ve seen so many people come and go inside that office I lost count. I feel bad for the people that work inside the office a lot of them don’t know if they’re going to be fired when they walk in the door.

Wow! 35 years as a truck driver and you're not retired yet? Seems to me that you have made very bad choices on where you have chosen to work.
-
No just not ready to retire.
-
And that’s why you don’t make payments on a truck that doesn’t have your name on the title.
-
And now..................the rest of the story.
bryan21384 Thanks this. -

Question: when this accident happened, were you...
1) Parked in the last spot in a truckstop where every truck has to make a wide turn around you?
or,
2) Were you park in a non designated truck space. In other words a space or area where trucks shouldn't park?
