Maybe it might be a good Idea to put off buying that new truck or trailer for the time being.

this will most likely thin out the herd even more, especially of the low-balling companies.
and for the record, it's not just small trucking companies possibly going out of business, but many other businesses as well.
i can't feel sorry for any of them, it is what it is, others will pick up the pieces and start new businesses.
the people that have already bought those shiny new rigs and are not moving, are gonna lose them pretty soon. so a glut in good, low miles trucks coming soon.
but ya know what? no matter how many times so many come here and ask about getting INTO the business as an o/o, and then CHOOSE NOT to listen, well....
they made thier bed.......... -
I wish I had done that. I just bought another truck about 5 weeks ago. I replaced my old Freightshaker [ I didn't trade it , still sitting here in the front yard] for a 15 model prostar with a Cummins.rachi Thanks this.

$576 per month. Low enough for anybody. But I absolutely hate being in debt. This truck and my wife's Jeep are the only things I owe on. I think I can ride this out until things get back to normal. I'm just now starting to see things slow down a little. I normally pull 5 loads per week and so far I'm still getting 4. But who knows how long that will last.
