I was too young to remember the street names. but i know my other grandmother was the lead cashier when it opened. Baggin with one hand, with a cigarette in her face, hammering the number keys on the register behind her back with the other. My how times have changed. -
What’s the hole for? Really curious. Is it used like some sort of ventilation system so the driver can sleep better ?FoolsErrand, Lonestar87 and Coffey Thank this.

Lol , it depends on the specific company now doesn't it ?
I work for Legend Transportation out of Yuba City CA which is owned by an Indian family . So far , so good ..
But from Northern California all the way down to Bakersfield in the Central Valley the Indian owned trucking companies (mainly Indian Sikh ) are very powerful ,especially with reefer freight . Some are horrible 1099 companies that change names monthly and give a brand new driver a 100mph Freightliner ; some are great companies with long term customers and employees that have great safety scores .
Which specific Indian owned company are you referring to ?Last edited: Apr 22, 2020
