Doesnt sound crazy at all. I dont change jobs often. But when I look around pay isnt my top concern either. (But i also no, for what I do. With my experiance, driving record and so forth. my pay will be in a certain range) i
Im guessing insurance, home time, 401k etc.. were top concerns?

I usually make around 220-350 a day and that's home daily if I'm lucky and I get to run hard I can make around 450+ but it long and hard runs but I still can go home on them if I chose to and those 220 day can be anywhere from 4+ hours long

I make $300-$350 per day currently, home every day. I have a large raise coming in September. The top solo guys at my terminal make approximately $550-$600 per day. The top team drivers...not sure how the daily works out, but they're grossing $3500 per week.

How many hours a day are you working? 12hrs a day 200 is not good.LtlAnonymous Thanks this.

So you make 104K per year for a 5 day a week job?
What do you do? -
That's one week. A better average would be, what is your yearly gross? Days on the road? Accessorial pay? Vacation pay? Retirement?
With the info above being accurate and true we can see if the week provided was an anomaly or standard. -
Main terminal location close to home, and I knew the person that was going to be my trainer. From my research, it looked like my pay was going to be in the mid range of companies that I figured were likely to hire me.

Well...my annual gross in 2019 was 120K.
2020 will be approximately 134K.
We are home after each shift except for layovers of which
I had 37 nights away from home, in a motel, of which we keep the points, w 45 dollars a day meal money. I have 27 paid days off and that includes vacation and floater holidays.
Vacation is paid at time and a half on 8 hrs.
We have a retirement account that accrues per years of service, also a pension and 401K w 6% match. We are paid ot after 10 and double time and a half for 8 holidays each year. We are paid for all on duty/driving time, no accessory pay.
We know we have a great contract.LtlAnonymous Thanks this. -
Sounds like some of these guys have pretty good jobs. But most company drivers I no do not make $80-100+ per year. More like
50-.60 com or $65-70k per year.LtlAnonymous Thanks this.
