    So then why are autos so desirable then? Is it really so much work to shift 9-18 gears and then get on the cruise?

    Were the super liners designated the RW 700 maybe...?

    I drove one for about 6 months 350 Mack with a 12 speed Mack trans and 46 camel back spring rears .........:). While the driver was out with knee injury.

    Then went back into my assigned RD....

    I wouldn't say you're lazy if you prefer an auto. I'd say you're lazy if you don't want to work. Plenty of bad drivers prefer a manual the bar has nothing to do with shifting gears.

    Why would you want shift when the truck will do it for you as good as you can do it?
    It's the same why would you want to have manual window winders when there are electric ones that works fine.

    Why wouldn't you want to shift?

    Driving has honestly got to the point any mouthbreather that mommy finally kicked out of the basement can do it. Just hold that wheel.

    The amount of whining I see on this forum is evidence enough.

    "Whaaaaaa my A/C doesn't work. Whaaaaaa. My boss is an ###hole because he won't fix it until the weekend!"

    Control..... I want control and don’t want my life in the ha hands of a chip and some software that was written by the lowest bidder.
