A guy from back home was running a late 80’s W900 with a B model Cat in it back around 2000 or so. He blew it up in CO but got it into the old Flying J in Julesburg. He had his wife drive down and pick him up, then they drove up to Rapid City to Butler Cat. He got everything he needed and overhauled the truck in the parking lot of the Flying J.

Freightliner will still make a new frame rails with holes drilled to my Vin number. No plans of giving her up. Just take a month off and rebuild.

yup i am re-doing a 83 peterbiult 359, what was built by man can be re-built by man...unfortunately that one is gonna take more than a month im afraid...lol. its going to need some frame repair as well. a little to rusty under the 5th wheel for my liking but it can be fixed and it will haul freight again.

Mines getting rusty for spending 20 years in Ohio and Michigan. Need to get it painted and hopefully save it for a few more years. I've rebuilt everything else so why not.

    Still won't have payments.

image.jpeg This is my old Dog I’ve yet to put on the road.

    1997 9300’n-14

As much as I like the looks of dual side mount exhaust and big air cleaners , I don’t know if I can justify losing the aerodynamics , even though it's as aerodynamic as a house.

I might put dual exhaust behind the cab where the single is mounted.

And I might go as far as mounting some nice aerodynamic fender mirrors

It made it a million 175 with no big chrome external air cleaners so I think it probably performs all right
