Instant O/O and Load boards

I was the first in my family of all the extended family I know to have a CDL and use it for OTR. BIL has one but never ran OTR, biggest reason he had that was his local crane service years and years ago.
I'm sure that when my brother got his CDL my dad had a second heart attack. He only ran OTR one winter. The rest of his driving has been local for the betterment of his ranch.

You guys would get some serious laughs at my dad and mom for their badly misguided fantasies of what trucking is like.
They think ALL the truck stops are filled with very tempting sexy ladies of the night. And that there is no possible way a married man can stay true to his wife. That just to get out of the truck you have to beat them off with a stick, and getting to the building requires special protection from God against all atempts at fornicating with all these HOT ladies (fantasies of theirs).

They think bars are FULL of extremely sexy ladies with extremely loose morals looking to get it on with every hard leg that walks thru the door. When I was single I should have asked them for directions to these bars. Seems like I must have always gone to the wrong ones.

Yeah theirs are misguided fantasies. So much so that when travelling they will not stop at a travel plaza for gas unless its the very last resort. Preferring to fuel at a 4-wheeler gas station for fear of what they might see taking place in the parking lot of a truck stop.
If I were to even TRY to tell them other wise I would be thought of if not accused of being a liar.
