Not really, Milk is not a Hazmat Material. That is not hazardous to the enviroment.

Milk is a marine pollutant. Big money involved there. EPA classifies it as an oil.

    Ouch

I almost rolled my milk tank dodging a car that blindly pulled out in front of me .

I first jabbed the brakes but knowing that was going nowhere I swerved.

The combination of the surge from braking and me swerving had the rear wheels a foot off the ground

Pickup truck that was behind me and witnessed it pulled up next to me at the stop sign down the road and asked if I needed to change me britches

We have a big dairy right around the corner from our yard. A lot of tankers coming through the little town and through the roundabout.

Witnessed a guy coming in hot into the roundabout my first day at work and rolled the tank spilling 5000 gallons of raw milk which is a hazardous waste spill.

Tidal wave of milk went into the convenience store at the roundabout.

Accident put the hauling company out of business after they lost their insurance

My small milk hauling company showed me a vid caught on security of a tanker rolling pulling into a dairy Hot.

It instilled the fear into me.

Some of those exit ramps that get tighter and tighter as you enter them would scare the Krap out of me because the last thing you want to do is touch the brakes when your already cornering hard.

If you were on the edge of stability jabbing the brakes and moving the surge would definitely roll you .

I’ve had a few but puckering exits that I thought I was plenty slowed down going into but turned out the circle was getting tighter and all you could do is Hold her Steady.

I learned to dive for the inside of the curve like a race car driver on some curvy Highways that banked out . There is a hill on 94 going out of Michigan that I was always inside of.

And coming down into Grand Rapids Michigan on eastbound 96 is scary with a tank also. In fact all of 96 between GR and holland sucks with tight curves

I have a parade behind me on nearly every exit ramp. Always a mega Cascadia breathing down my neck no matter how many placards I have on. I'd love to tell em to go drive off a bridge but I try to remind myself that they've never pulled anything other than that van trailer and don't know any better.

I Pulled one van one day in my entire driving career and I had to keep looking in the mirror to see if it was still there,

Enjoyed pulling the shotgun tank but I would never want to haul fuel.

Pisses me off when Megas and white Volvo’s want to pass me at 70 in the 45 mph construction zone.

Meanwhile I am trying to hold onto the truck for dear life while I am rerouted onto the median that has a 15 degree angle and the liquid is trying steer the truck.

Everyone should have to haul a shotgun once to have an appreciation for how much the liquid moves the truck around.

I went from vans to tanks. The learning curve is pretty steep. I’m getting better. Pulling a tank has its days, just like backing. Some days I’ll darn near knock myself out of the seat with the surge.

I have hauled trailers filled with metal drums of liquid before. Even when it was the front box, I would feel that surge wanting to push me through stop lights. And don't even get me started on curves.

You tanker guys have my respect. That is a whole different feeling for a truck.
