Let’s not forget the diesel fuel in the tanks. If one or both of those tanks didn’t rupture then I guarantee you the crossfeed did! In addition there’s also the DEF tank,if equipped!

I started with dry vans too back when. I'll admit that I still do look back to see if someone rear ended me every now and then after making a less than ideal stop at a light. Whenever I train, the look on the new guy's face is always priceless when that first surge hits. Doesn't matter how much I warn them.. they just gotta feel it for themselves to get that this is no joke.

Yup that too. I sure hope his pee jug was secured at least in that 360. Although he probably messed his shorts anyway so I guess that's irrelevant

You hauling milk? The first time I pulled heavy condensed I almost put my head through the windshield from the delayed hard Wham I got from the surge.

Sometimes when I am stuck in traffic I will intentionally get the liquid moving to entertain the cats around me with the booming.

Nope. Haz waste. My favorite is when I go to take off and it hits the back of the tank and stops the truck dead.

My other favorite was the day I scared a Canadian customs officer half to death. The surge made a banging sound and the poor guy about jumped out of his skin.

I almost frontended the car behind me the first time I hauled condensed.

I had made a slow gradual stop at a light and the product didn’t move. Or so I thought as I let my foot relax on the brake pedal.

5 seconds later the wave hit the back of the tank and the truck Leapt back 3 feet.

I don’t know if it would be a blessing to haul something that doesn’t move I almost think it would be boring.

Hauling 4000-4500 gallons of caustic soda in a 7000 gallon MC 307 SS smoothe bore calmed my aggressive driving habits WAAAYYY DOWN! Threw the coffee mug out of its holder on my first trip before I ever got to the big road.

On my pre hire checkout drive and me never hauling liquid, my checkout guy slammed the brakes on before we even got off the farm.

The Force of the Slam put a fear into me so much that I asked him to just drive me around for 10 minutes to see if I even wanted to do the job .
