Man, the last 2 days I've done $1,700 on 700 miles. I even got a broker to pay me $50 more on a load.

Could it be the worldwide pandemic is over? LOL

Remember, this is OR with a dry van after all. I'm not talking about east coast reefer rates going into Brooklyn, NY, or anything like that ;-)

    Not too shabby!

I've had people negotiating a little harder today, too, than yesterday. So, we'll see what happens.

I'm noticing a few more loads are starting to show up. Produce is picking up too. I was looking at reefer loads (for the heck of it) last night out of CA. There were a couple team loads with decent miles on them for better aveages than what we've been seeing the last several weeks.

Convoy is the cheapest brokerage company in industry. They have loads even for $50

That's as may be, but @SteveScott does pretty well with them in his region of operations. So, that he's seeing some of the better loads he normally goes after is an encouraging sign.

Remains to be seen how long it'll last or if this is the signs of a turn, but we'll take what we can get.

Exactly, we DON'T know. Crapola, wasn't it just a cpl mos ago the experts were telling that over 2 million dead bodies were going to be lying in our streets from the Wuhan Flu?

We'll take what we can right now, that is within reason, for sure.

I'm glad I followed through on some of the assistance provided when I did. Every profitable dollar I generate for the next several mos is icing on the cake.

I've witnessed it happening down here with the US Coast guard.

I've had my Go Arounds with them being in the commercial marine business in the past.

They used to be about saving life's . Now they are about pulling over boats and shaking them down for irrelevant possible violations .

God for bid you have a couple ladies in bikinis on board in Fort Myers because the Coasties are going to pull you.

They than expanded their patrol up to 35 miles south conducting their same Patrols.

The basis of that was to establish a base north to operate out of and have more Patrol and Control.

It's not about education it's about fines and punishment.

US Coastie patrols are Punks with ARs. Now the helicopter rescue divers are truly Brave Heroes
