What is east coast?

It’s not even the supposed “tight” roads that are a problem. It’s the dangerous stupid four wheelers who are the worst of all the states, the horrendous traffic, the terrible road layouts and the serious shortage of available parking or truck stops that makes it suck. Oh, and the poor attitude of people you interface with in general.

 

Reminds me of directions I got to New Jersey one time from Ohio;

"Get on 80, go east, keep going east till you smell it, then keep going east till you step in it"

If you are on I-95, you are on the East Coast.

 

You posted 16 minutes ago so taht should be right about the rush hour filling 695 catonsville west, I-70 and also pikesville as well as north 83 interchanges in addition to a gridlocked 695 95 problem.

You aint going anywhere for a while not this hour.

You could try eastern ave, 29, 26 or york road to get out of the city. But it's tricky.

 

What rush hour?have you driven around baltimore lately?

 

Not since 2004. That year there was only two times of the day and night you can move around baltimore at speed, either 11PM to 2 am or about 2PM to 3PM.

Those are the times I usually go through Baltimore on the east coast so that there is no traffic to speak of.

I also bypass DC entirely on the US301 Bridge crossing to the east and using the US15 crossing to manassas with 48 foot or smaller trailers. I have not physically been on or in DC since about 1995.

 

As far as I am concerned, the East Coast is anywhere within 200 miles of the Atlantic. It isn't too bad if you are South of Richmond and North of Daytona Beach...

These places, Kentucky and Illinois, I know not of them. My map stops with the river and is grey beyond that point with a big warning that says “ beyond this place there be dragons” so I don’t go.
