You probably would have gotten a whole lot more out of this thread if you left the minority business part out. Race or color isnt a factor in this business and unfortunately neither is experience or business sense. Pretty much whoever is willing to do it the cheapest

 

True. I just had a new customer come to
Me that wants freight shipped from A to B. His actual location C has the business because it’s a veteran owned business and his customer has to do atleast like 5% per year with veterans to get gov money. He never even touches it, just becomes the middle man making it more expensive for everyone.

To the OP. Most of us don’t want any help or handouts. My wife and I had never taken a penny of help from anyone until yesterday when the PPP money came. We had to do that in order to stay competitive with other carriers. Companies getting their payroll paid are making rates even lower and for longer. Far below a normal companies cost without “help”. Free money, easy help, it’s a slippery slope.

 

If you really did your research White women are considered minorities and disadvantaged. But instead y’all rather keep your spouse “in line” then in front. Wake the hell up. Y’all are so soft
