Got you! Not so much birds for me but I like watching rabbits on my back yard. I am kind of curious if I could catch one with a quiet BB gun and roast it...for dinner. Yummy! I'd make some nice beets salad for it too.PPLC, Deere hunter, chimbotano and 1 other person Thank this.

This the issue, right here.
I have never and will never be THAT guy. -
The. scales are the perfect illustration.
The broker wants the Carrier to make X amount the Carrier wants the broker to make X amount and the transparency balances the scales.
If it makes you feel better you can say the broker wants to make X amount and the Carrier wants to make X amount they both look at what amount is there and the the transparency balances the scales. -
That is absolutely correct and if everything was completely transparent you would see in times like 2018 the brokers would be taking a smaller percentage but they could make it up with more loads.
In times like now they would take a larger percentage however because the Carrier sees what's there they wouldn't be able to take an excessive amount.
Yes that is happening now because there are less loads so the brokers want to lower the prices even more to retain their profit and let the Carrier make less.
They also would not be able to pilfer with the detention. -
That is absolutely correct.
They make the absolute maximum profit when the Carrier makes the absolute least profit.
You know the old saying. One for me 1 for you, 2 for me 1 for you, 3 for me 1 for you, 4 for me 1 for you...
