Carrying protection , knifes

I don’t remember where it was at, but about 20 years ago, there was some old guy that had some robber enter his house. Old guy (was around 80 years old) beat the perp with a Louisville slugger. Perp shows up in court all busted up with his wife and kids and sued the old guy for beating on him and won the lawsuit. It’s really easy for a slick lawyer to line up a jury with a bunch of bleeders who will sympathize with a robber because , “he didn’t mean any harm, he was just trying to care for his family.”

So, if ever gets to the point to where you have to put foot to arse, you’d better put the perp down.

 

I was doing stupid stuff to back when I was 18 and and got me some felonies, that was 50 years ago,governor blackface gave me back my voting rights but those felonies stay around even after you die, but I have the wife in the truck and she's ex-police and carries a 9mm and we try and to not put ourselves in situations that are bad or shut down in sleazy overnight spots, even if it's self defense you'll probably go to jail especially in the socialist states.

 

Personally, I think a can of pepper spray or a taser would work better than a knife to ward off an attack. I've done a little knife training, and it's not as easy as you think to be good with a knife, and it's even harder to land a crippling blow.

 

It is best to remain peacefully inclined.

 

I walk around with my fixed blade in a sheath and never have encountered a problem. I also have numerous knives of various lengths in the truck. Coupled with a can of bear mace and a small crossbow. I have a machete zip tied to the grab handle on my door. There have been numerous times the trooper has asked me to open my door saw the blade and never questioned me.

 

Two rules

1. No weapons
2. If someone has a weapon, makesure to have a better weapon.

 

I always carry a small knife, that clips onto my pocket, knife is on the inside.
