I guess I’ve been working with a very bad company for 28 years ,
audeygdad Thanks this. -
Unless you really know what you're doing, having a weekly payment in the spot market in these times is a recipe for disaster.. yes Schneider got safety videos but is no where near as strict as some people make it out to be. Landstar is very very strict as well. You park your truck in front of your house you're gone. Etc etc. Better rethink that move. Many people go to Landstar from Schneider an come right back. Unless you're a people person and very out going you're going to make the same money at Landstar you doing at Schneider. Don't chase your tail in a circle. It can easily happen lolfrito bandito and Opus Thank this.

Parking the truck at your house will get you fired?tommymonza Thanks this.

No but moving it or going to fuel it can get you in trouble if you don’t log it......
-
Well thats understandable.
-
So are they the only company that dose this?
-
I think he meant that if you parked the truck on the street in front of your house they would terminate the lease.
audeygdad Thanks this. -
well,I stand corrected,I just learned if you park your truck at the house Landstar can get sued if it's hit so I think that could get you fired,I park my truck (bobtail)n the in the yard out of the street ,I wonder if that's acceptable?
Cat sdp Thanks this. -
Probably not. Lots and lots of rules.
