I spent good money on name brand jeans for work, only to have every single pair blow the inseam out after a month. Bought some jeans that were a name I couldn't pronounce, made in Bangladesh. Dang things lasted 2 years.

    I don't care where something's made, I want quality.

Yes, please. It's a good idea for a topic and I'd like to read on without somebody making an issue out of nothing and getting it shut down.

He didn't say well built, he just said US made.

It's how we ended up with the AMC Gremlin.

Rainbow Sandals. They claim 100% American made.

No trucker should go a day without a pair.

Red wing boots still manufactures their boots in 3 plants here using American sourced materials.

Their alternative brand z Irish setter boots are made in China

Brewed in the USA, sure, but Budweiser brewer Anheuser-Busch was bought out by InBev, headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. Coors merged with Molson, and while they’re still headquartered in the USA (Chicago, not Colorado), the company is as much Canadian as American. And Schlitz is owned by Pabst, a company that doesn’t actually own any breweries anymore (MolsonCoors brews it for them).

Not any longer. The first three I looked at on their website was made in Cambodia. Gave up after that.
Not saying they make 100% non-US, but most are not made in the US. And yes, this was Red Wing branded work boots

Something that can at least outlast stuff make in China?
I'm glaring at Kenedyne with that comment, not you personally.

    Kenedyne VS Multiprens straps.
"Multiprens USA" has durable straps but thier product is tagged with "made in China"...

    Not so easy anymore. :)

    SmallPackage Thanks this.
