I’m scared for you. How about buy 1 and see how it goes first?
Dino soar, Western flyer, magoo68 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Penske SOS has the best breakdown , they have your back 24/7 , one call to them and they handle it , there is also parking in all the major cities , were there are no truck stops.
Spent many years on Tour and they saved our bacon a few times. -
At 20 k a month running team he’s looking at 4800 a month give or take once the extra charges are applied.. That’s if his drivers don’t damage stuff . Buying is cheaperMidwest Trucker Thanks this.

I own 3 trucks in my fleet, Penske won’t lease you if you aren’t a running settled business..

Maybe you already said it, but why not just buy? It’s a better option any way you look at it. Just get a 5yr 500k engine/emissions factory warranty.
It’s great that you have a 3 truck fleet. That’s fantastic. But I do remember when I had just three trucks and it’s a very sensitive stage to be in. Those two trucks your talking about could easily bring down your operation.Dino soar and Western flyer Thank this. -
With buy I can’t add more than 1 or maybe 2.. this gives me option to expand.

That’s all the more reason to slow down a little. How long have you been in business? Do you factor or run on your own money? Think of a triangle... ok... build that base niiiiiiiice and wide, then slowly as time goes maybe year by year... build it up layer by layer towards the peak. This is a solid company. What I see so much of is an upside down triangle of quick growth where it looks really impressive and big, but eventually sooner, sometimes later topples over. Why work so hard if your going to lose it in the end? You’ve just waste years and years of your life and are right back where you started.
oh and if you didn’t see I added to my first post. -
Own 3 trucks and in business more than 2 years, I don’t factor. as time passes these trucks broke down more, spending a lot of money maintaining these. They will provide new trucks aprox $4200/month about $1050/week.. $0.19-0.21/ mile

Do you have your own contacted freight.
Are you running off of load boards.
Do you have drivers for the 2 trucks your trying
To get.
Those trucks have to be moving as soon as you
Pull them off the lot.
No sitting around a month trying to find a driver.
