Fired after complaining too much about mechanical issues. 2017 T680 Auto.
About 6 weeks ago while having brakes checked due to wheel shake and overheating drives, the shop in PDX discovered the left steer drum was bad and that all the OEM slack adjusters had been removed and manuals had been installed. The owner admitted he had done this to all 4 of his trucks.
I asked for pay documents so I could see about financing a car. I was given documents showing me being paid $500 every two weeks. My contract says .36 loaded .15 empty. The owner simply deposits money in my bank acct he was real pushy about me opening at his bank in town.
I told our office manager the documents were false, so between calling him out on the equipment issues and bogus payroll records, I'm unemployed.

 

Copy that for sure. It's been a long climb back after cancer brought things to a stop in 2016. The VA got me healthy but min options for "rookie" otr reefer guy with 20 yrs exp. All that counts is my 5 mo recent exp.

 

Ironically, we are from OKC and are there to see family this weekend. I'll follow-up next week . Thanks
