I know, right! He’s just leaving us all hanging!!!
You guys be safe out there this weekend. With everything opening back up, those folks that have been at home all this time will be out and about and you just know they have forgotten what little they knew about driving since they’ve been told to stay home.

Oh crud... it’s a holiday weekend?
I thought it was next weekend... crud.
I contacted people about heading home for a couple days then dropping this on Tuesday as scheduled... was asked to see if it could be dropped early... I did... Yup... on-site and LUL tomorrow morning.
Got the call us in the morning for your next load... didn’t even think about it being a holiday weekend...
Ya, this could be interesting. -
What happened to your first trainer???

Possibly... It might be low freight due to the shutdown... or not... I still think there was a shift in “planning philosophy“ around the beginning of the year... Instead of the “run hard today; rest later” and opting to run everyone 9 hours a day so as to not have to deal with 34 hour resets, having drivers available to work every day they are out, and make planning more standardized...
but I’m probably completely wrong on that.MACK E-6 Thanks this. -
The way these people plan? Not a chance. Oh they’ve changed alright, from borderline ridiculous to not being able to plan a day at Walmart. It’s a joke. I fight on Friday all day with my new DM about a 3 day 500 mile load, then my DM goes home early and doesn’t plan me on Saturday. I get to the yard and drop, then call in, because as we know, we can’t talk face to face with anyone, I’m told there’s no freight and to call back on Monday for Tuesday dispatch. I told dude that when I call in on Monday, I’ll be sitting in my kitchen having coffee with my wife. He then tells me I can’t do that, I said watch. 2 minutes later I get a move from RVA to WM to bring an empty reefer. If this crap doesn’t change soon, I’ll be taking off the summer.
No vacation the rest of the year, but I sure can spend 2 months at the Johnboy resort and not miss a beat.gntorres61, dwells40, MidWest_MacDaddy and 5 others Thank this. -
That yard was choked with loaded trailers little more than a week ago and has been every time I was on it since March. How is there "no frieght"?MidWest_MacDaddy, JohnBoy and Finfn1372 Thank this.
