lol I do this sometimes. And my truck will run 90 mph easily. I’m usually driving between 60-65 mph though. I’ve gotten off to get away from people, get off a exit park a minute take a leak, walk around truck. I hate being bunched up, I hate not having a lot of following distance. Idk how guys drive like that all day. Really scary #### honestly.

Unless that driver is being a jerk and just messing with you he gets outa your way fast and smooth when passing you and lets you get around him fast and smooth when you pass. There is one good reason for this. 100% Foot to throttle control. No cruise doing its thing.

Perhaps then you could maybe understand that the 'simple' solutions you so 'commonsensly' think we should do, are not really very workable and that we are usually doing about the best we can do. We are still responsible to get our loads delivered, ON TIME, the same as you, but we have many limitations you do not have and have to simply do the best we can with what we have to work with.
Additionally, many of us are still rather new and learning. Usually takes about 2 years experience until most other driver options are readily open to us.
So, while I truely understand and emphasized with your gripes, please understand we are doing what we can. Many of us do our best not to hinder traffic, but we've got to get down the road same as you, and we have pick up and delivery appointments we must get to also.

I did BUT I set cruise 3 mph below max pedal speed BECAUSE I was taught to have available power on the pedal in case of a steer blowout or a slide on black ice..TBH I drive slower than most megas with a wide open truck ..
