@Hollywood2317 any word from the suspension shop yet?

That is one thing the guy’s that lower and stretch those show trucks don’t like to discuss is how bad they really ride. The front axles well wreak havoc on the rear geometry if set to low because you can’t get the rear to sit down low enough to level truck out without the diffs and u- joints being out of whack. Thats why some of the high end slammers/customizers spend the big bucks on custom air ride front ends.

So did you figure out what was wrong ? Going through the same situation rear bags are higher then the front drives
-
ok, i can go on with this but lets start with basics. Are you running air trac? which air suspension are you running? With air trac, thats all i know becuase thats what i run on my 379. the frame height to perch will be higher in the rear than the frame height at the front drive. They wont be the same. Trucks have a "rake" to them. Are you having vibration or grinding sound through shifter? Well the only way to check drive line angles in an old 379 is with a drive line analyzer. those cost 300 bucks from spicer. or you can check driveline angles with cheap angle finder but its not as good. harbor frieght has them but those things suck and you cant find the right angles without the yoke attachments. With that said, you CANNOT rely on peterbilts ride height guidelines. Those are based off of new trucks with new tires and unworn components. If puutting at peterbilt specs, it will be totally screwed up and will get alot of noise becuase of the following: Air trac wear pads wore down alot (changes pinion angles), tire heights and wear, sagging and old front leaf springs on the steers, list goes on and on. I recommed spicer drive line anaylzer when adjusting ride height
