I have noticed quite a few new drivers seem to assume they will have accidents and collect tickets. Maybe that's just minimizing whatever trouble they are in. Accidents & tickets aren't the end of the world but they are a pretty big deal. They can sure make the difference between a pretty easy life with lots of options and a pretty stressful life with few options. OTR is hard enough without getting stuck with low pay, bad trucks, and no time at home.

How much is “substantially”?G13Tomcat Thanks this.

From .25 / mile to .28 / mile.

(And no I don't know, just being a smart aleck.)G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
Well, maybe I’m just spoiled from a job that actually pays well, but my idea of “substantial” would be to double that.

I noticed the same thing. And I've been pointing out all along that an at fault accident with property damage is a huge deal, and I don't care what anyone says best believe it is on his record and will definitely make things difficult for him for the next three yearstscottme Thanks this.
