∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆ this. I've had 2 very long waits, days, in the last 2 weeks. Until the epidemic, with this company, I never waited more than a couple hours for a load. Be patient.
They might not have said anything about those high speed downhills, but they are very aware of them. I'd get out of that habit yesterday, if I was you.deathB4decaf, G13Tomcat and Selva Thank this. -
I don't see the problem. That speed helps me climb hills faster, and if there's no one in front of me and and it's not curvy I don't see the danger, especially when most trucks are governed at 70-72. It also helps me pass 63-65 governed trucks easier.
-
You may not see a problem with it but your company may. Does your company have a "company" speed limit? If they governed your truck at 65 they may not like you exceeding that, even downhill.deathB4decaf, G13Tomcat, REO6205 and 1 other person Thank this.

Alrighty then. Best of luck to you. You are well on your way to super trucker status.Dick Danger and roshea Thank this.

Long weekends screw everything up. I know, it seems like your buddies are raking in the cash while you sit, but that's not really the case. They may have been sitting while you were running. It's like the speeder that rushes by you, they get caught somewhere. With the easing of many restrictions, you'll be up and running again. The world desperately needs to be restocked. At my local Walmart, there were almost NO pizzas in the cooler. Tombstone can't make them or ship them fast enough. Unless you kill someone, a company simply can't afford to get rid of you, and drivers even get out of that. Hang in there. Trucking has always been feast or famine. It's just the nature of the business.Blue Zombie Trucker Thanks this.
