I've got a 13' MP8 445 12spd. The engine has been awesome so far except for the injectors which is a known issue, had three of them unseat last year so replaced all to updated and new injector cups. The cups are actually the problem. Does not burn a drop of oil 708,000 on it now, no leaks. The after treatment got me last year, and I occasionally have electrical issues with the hill assist and the brake pressure sensors down behind the kick plate behind the peddles (I think this is a wire from the previous owner that we can't find, damaged). Frame is perfect very little rust, the cab does have some of the paint peel going on, another Mack issue they claim to have fixed on the new stuff. I would definitely buy another although I think I'd go new instead of used this time.

Same year also.
Any feedback would be great. -
I'm looking at a 2016 with an MP8 and an automated 12 speed but I'm super nervous. It's has about 340K on it for about 40K. Price seems OK but I've never owned a Mack.
My buddy loves his Mack.
Any feedback would be appreciated! -
I got a 15 CHU613(set forward axle) with an mp8 and shes been amazing! Had to replace last injector cup, DPF was covered under warranty back in 2018, and my driveshaft blew recently but aside from that nothing too bad. 375k on the clock at the moment

I have a 2012 mack with 600k miles and I've not had any issues with it other than the ac blower, a driveshaft that I twisted (completely my fault), and the fuel guage stopped working. Other than that the truck is a beast. MP8 with an auto 12

How do you like the direct drive automated 12? -
The unit I'm interested in is 2016 with 340K miles for 40K
I was just wary of the automated Trans because I've never driven one.
I've heard mostly good things about the MP8. -
Honestly the auto 12 isn't bad but for pulling hills and holding speed going down a manual would definitely work better

Thank you for your feedback.
I haven't driven a Mack since the early mid 90's.
