That remains to be seen. FedEx released a carefully lawyered statement. Wouldn't be so well written if their response was "we fired the bum." Now, if you had a package on that truck, what do you think their response is for that? (BTW, I used to work for a law firm years ago and FedEx was the go to for documents. What do you suppose the liability would be if any confidential information was obtained from this heist? Meh, looters probably wouldn't know what to do with it. Just a thought.)
So far protesters didn’t kill anyone... but there’s evidence that lawyers are among protesters throwing Molotov ####tails.
Oh come on! ####tails is bleeped?!? It's always 5 o'clock somewhere. (In fact, I could use one right now,,,)
That “illegal device” is a factory option from peterbilt, kenworth, freighliner, and I’m sure many others.
Better to dump the clutch and hammer down. Ask questions later. As the old saying goes, better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
If you folks manage to find the actual FedEx vs protestor video (the raw footage one) I think you'll notice that the brakes were locked on the pup and he was dragging it down the street. Dip#### had already managed to get the airlines off. I don't recommend watching if you're squeamish. It is not nice.
When I was with Knight, I had a freigtliner with a 5th wheel release in the cab. Now I would have to get out of my truck and physically pull the pin. This makes me nervous as I would have to make any decision before the crowd got to me
