Hello all, I need some guidance here.
I want to purchase a roll off dumpster ( 8' wide at top and 5' wide at bottom. This is a tub style dumpster that weighs 3300 lbs.)
I want to know how to find someone who can move and deliver it?
Or if I should use a ford f150 (7600 lbs. towing capacity) and bring it in a trailer since the bottom part is not that wide. If trailer is under 10K lbs. would I have to go into weigh station? I do have a CDL but no longer drive big trucks. Thank you for your advice

If you have very good tires on the trailer and a spare tire on a wheel, and they will load it even on trailer for you and you have chains plus binders to hold it down, If you keep the speed down on your trip it may work,

Thats no heavier than a standard size car. F150’s pull that stuff around everyday. As long as it fits on trailer you should be good.

Yep, I agree with the others ^^^ . Hotshot haulers do it all the time. Hiring a T/T of any sort would be quite cost prohibitive, IMHO. Best wishes.

If you can fit it between the fenders of a standard car hauler trailer and have a way to load and unload it should be a piece of cake. Should be 5-6k total, if your truck is in good shape no sweat. Just chain/strap it down really good.

Otherwise go rent a flatbed truck from Penske or Ryder, if you have a buisiness should be less than 200 a day incl insurance and .20 a mile. You will need to scale and have a DOT medical, but you are using their DOT number. Also I think you need to log but since it’s one day only paper is fine. Even if you needed elogs the trucks are all equipped, you just need to download an app on your phone.
