They'll probably have you reload out of there. I took a super short load to Mascoutah some time ago. I think the whole load was one or two pallets

They changed our plan. We dropped the Mexico mo load at craftsmen. We're supposed to run a load to aldi by 11 tonight but it's not even here yet. Then we gotta deliver danville il 22:00 tomorrow night then bounce home. So we got a long gap of sitting around cuz it's only like 4 hours from here to danville.

Now we had to just disregard the aldi load. The driver stopped in Effingham at 17:00 and took his 10hr break knowing that the load was supposed to be dropped at craftsmen and also be delivered by 23:00 tonight. He started in ohio with the load and a fresh clock this morning. Dispatch said he would've had enough hours to have made craftsmen. Wow and double wow.

Lumper Humper and dwells40 Thank this.

What in the world? They gotta be pissed at that driver. He stops in Effingham? That close? He could have taken a break at Craftsmen. So he really double whiffed on that load didn't he?

According to dispatch his excuse was they didn't tell him they were gonna have someone else deliver it on time. He for some reason thought they were just gonna reschedule it. But they had sent him a message like they would've sent to any of us if we would've told them we couldn't make it cuz of what he deemed to be an hours of service issue. They gave instructions to drop it at craftsmen and the load info showed it was due at customer at 23:00. I personally always interpret that as get it to craftsmen asap cuz the load still has to deliver even if i can't deliver it myself.

dwells40 and Lumper Humper Thank this.

Yep his new instructions were to come through the yard today for a sit down conversation. I seen the guy parked in the front row at Effingham when i stopped for fuel this morning. I didn't stop to talk to him though.

What did they end up having you do? I'm at the yard now about to drop a trailer at Smith Foods. I'm going up to New Britian for Monday, not sure if that trailer is ready. I would have loved to be a fly on the wall for that conversation.
