Almost...
if you look close the front 3 of the trailer steer by hydraulic turntable powered by an engine in the box between axle sets. in the first pic the steersman/spotter is walking behind and beside to decide when to change the trailer steer angle. in the second pic he and the driver are refueling the hydraulic pump. They will probably be locking the steering for a straight stretch.
Some tri/tri dollies can be operated from the drivers seat but because of vision problems that can be a scary operation. Quite often the steering remote control is operated from a chase unit (the red pickup behind the load in first pic).kptnt2016, not4hire, Landincoldfire and 4 others Thank this. -

Doing some plant moves today. A long time ago I was told open deck trucks didn't have to backup. What a load of #### that was.
20ft high and 20ft wide with 2 pivot points. Sure why not.

Man i'd love to get into that plant and check out all the big toys. I made it a point to visit the Kennecott mine in UT just to see the D575A's back before the big collapse.cke Thanks this.

well, before all this idiocy of the fraud ##### virus, you could take a tour of the mine. It was like $5 (took about an hour). You could certainly park a semi in their parking lot. Totally worth it, ti's pretty amazingcke, CousinVinny and kptnt2016 Thank this.

Getting this Cat engine ready to drag west. Only 71,000 pounds which I suppose is a lot for just an engine.

Landincoldfire, cke, PoleCrusher and 4 others Thank this. -
Thought this was gonna be an easy load. Everyone was worried about the plastic staying on the load on the highway after sitting in our yard for months. So the boss wanted it tarped and I think we took care of that.
