Tarp is all that kept this whole pack from dribbling over the side a few pieces at a time.

The bands and those balsa boards keeping the holes open break all the time. But sure saves the plant a fortune in pallets at the expense of everyone downstream.

Sorry pal, looks like a sxxx load to me. You'd think they would put some kind of cheap sides on those loads before banding them. IDK, I just had so much more luck with a van or dump. Flatbed, with stuff like this, just didn't seem to pay enough to offset those hassles. Van trailer, run them in, gotta go, or dump,,flip a switch, unloaded in 30 seconds. I'd also think, air ride would have eliminated a lot of those loads coming apart.

Just part of the job. Brick aint bad. Beats 13ft high mesh or tarped pallet racking.

I’ve hauled lots of shingles and tarped a lot of them too. I’ll tarp anything if that’s what I agree too? I’d rather tarp shingles than some of these other porcupine loads.

Dose that make me “one of those companies?”

I was just pointing out the irony.

Your truck is white and you are relatively close to Chicago.....

Been a long time since I hauled a shingle but it seems like tarring is not that big a deal if it is part of the deal

I did when I hauled out of GAF in Baltimore. Those had paper packaging which made it necessary.

Tamko or Owens Corning loads out of Kearny NJ never got tarped though due to being plastic packaging.

Not to disagree since I’ve ran all spring ride trucks before, but I’d bet his is air.

They can’t haul that much brick at a time. :)
