Air Dryer Leakage 2014 Volvo VNL 670

    Hello respected members,
    I've 2014 Volvo VNL 670 with 1 million kilometers on it.

    I've been getting warning for "Air Dryer Leakage" for few weeks. I got the air dryer cartridge replaced at first but didn't work for me. Then I took it to another mechanic after it started displaying "Air Dryer Malfunction" and he replaced the whole air dryer but I'm still getting the first warning which is "Air Dryer Leakage".

    Took it back to both the mechanics but both of them couldn't fix it. Tried the third mechanic and he said the new dryer might require programming but upon calling Volvo dealership, I was told that new dryer doesn't require any sort of programming.

    Please guide me through this situation.

    Always always check your wires fuses b4 throwing parts :-(

    This warning comes and go and sometimes it doesn't show up whole the day. Do you think it's a wiring or fuse issue ?

    Could not answer my suggestion is check both :-(
    One big recommendation is jumper wire bypass wiring also testing for continuity

    this is not a air dryer problem, something in you truck is leaking air bad enough for the air dryer to notice, you have a electric air dryer set up which do require programing at replacement although it will not change anything more of a maintenance than anything else. check truck for air leaks this is why you are having this message learned this the hard way in the first one i did with electric dryer did everything you did and still same problem turns out the safety manifold inthe chassis was pissing air out replaced this and all good. so focus on air leaks not air dryer.
