Drivers Beware

So they're doing that scam again. Ran into it at the J north of Dayton years ago. Very convincing. They got two drivers and one poor guy on vacation.

Just remember people, there's never been a straight game of three card monte, ever. And if you don't know who the mark is, it's you. Walk away.

You cheat back. "Well I know it's not this card." FLIP "...and I know it's not this card." FLIP "...so she's right there." POINT.

What they gonna do? lol

 

I've always wondered if these stands where people sell illegal DVDs have any kind of security?

Just walk by, swipe, keep moving. What? You're gonna change me of stealing a movie you filmed in a theater on a camcorder?

Also, a guy clued me into the real deal. 3 card Monty isn't the issue, at least in NY, sometimes they're both in on it. It's the pickpockets working the crowd.

They shove you up against the trailer and steal your money.

It was kinda the plan in the first place. The three card monte was just to get you off your guard and alone and outnumbered.

 

Word is she has a whole notebook full of printed out emails from some Prince in Nigeria who has told her she will get the contents of a bank account that belonged to her grandfather if she will only pay the processing fees. She has already sent him $26,000 dollars.
