How is it going?

Renewed insurance. $6295 per truck/trailer for liability, cargo, and collision. Also Haz.

 

During the covid lockdown there is a broker (customer) who beat us down $150 in forward, and $100 on back hauls. I’d routinely DH trucks much further then ever before to ensure we covered every load.

Today, I just blew the agent out of the water by refusing any more tenders until we get back to where we were. He said they had lowered their rate and would have to get back to me as the previous is more then they have in it now.

Sometimes, we just have to put our foot down and demand what we’re worth. We have done our part, now you do yours.
