Push a cigarette lighter in there, I'll bet it works just fine.

Mine does anyway. I can tell because there's a picture of a cigarette on the button.

Back before cell phones came about those “power ports” were useless unless you smoked cigars or cigarettes. They just changed the name from cigar lighters to power ports a generation ago. Same English different name.

NASCAR's used to have cigarette lighters and ashtrays in them, back when it was about racing.

His wife hated that he and others called him 'Dick'.
She always referred to him as Richard.
    LOL

Sorry to be so simple, have you checked the fuses?

I'd blow em out too. Actually, I'd do this.....and I have a bunch of times, just not on your specific truck. Pull the fuse (and check it). While it's out take some sandpaper and a flat blade screwdriver and get in there and clean the contacts. Power points don't go bad unless they melt down. Your problem is crud in it, corrosion or the wiring behind it.....or the fuse.

Then, if you don't want to tear up your dash, get on Youtube and find how to get them out. May have to pop some trim. Not rocket science.

This is the socket on dashboard. If you put a lighter in it will not get hot. Take a look on bottom contact. Its sitting deep and does not have holders for lighter.
Compare this socket with the socket you have in your car.

This is the socket in sleeper.

This one may work (may not work) with the lighter. I have not used it with lighter.
